STAR WARS: Episode II – Attack of the Clones

About 10 years later…
It all starts with a failed attack on Ex-Queen now Senator Amidala (Natalie Portman). Because of this attack, the Jedi Order gets Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) to guard her. Another attack on the Senator while she is sleeping starts Kenobi and Skywalker on a chase through a city on a “hover car” and a foot pursuit through a tavern. They eventually catch their pursuant, Zam Wesell, a changeling bounty hunter, but she gets shot and killed by her boss, Jango Fett, father of Boba Fett.
Because of the second attempt on Amidala, Kenobi is ordered to research and discover the plot behind her attack and Skywalker is ordered to take Amidala back to her home planet of Naboo. Jar Jar Binks represents Amidala at the Senate Chamber and later gives Senator Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid)the ability to create a grand army. What isn’t known is that Palpatine has been making this army for quite some time. At Naboo, Skywalker and Amidala fall in love but are hesitant on pursuing their relationship because of their conflicting lives.
Kenobi learns more information about Amidala’s attacks from the “bullet” used to kill Zam Wesell and flies to the uncharted planet of Kamino, a “water world” where an alien race is making clones out of Jango Fett to create the perfect army. Jango Fett had these aliens create an unaltered clone of himself as well, who ends up being Boba Fett.
Skywalker gets some bad dreams of his mother, Shmi, so he takes a jet with Amidala to his home planet of Tatooine to find her and save her. He finds Watto, the Junk Shop Owner that used to own both Skywalker and his mother as slaves. Watto sold Shmi to Cliegg Lars, who married her and is also the father of Owen, now Anakin’s stepbrother. They find Cliegg, Owen, and Beru Whitesun…”UNCLE OWEN!!! AUNT BERU!!!” Unfortunately, their camp was attacked by Tusken Raiders, and Shmi was taken. Anakin uses his skills to sneak into the Tusken Raider camp where Shmi was held. Anakin finds Shmi at the last moment before she dies. He gets pissed and kills the whole Tusken Raider camp, men, women, and children.
Kenobi gets into some trouble while searching for more clues about Jango Fett. He follows Jango Fett to a planet called Geonosis, where some battle druids are being built. He gets captured and finds out that the mastermind behind the whole thing is an Ex-Jedi called Count Dooku, also known as Lord Tyranus. Anakin and Amidala go to Geonosis to save Kenobi and get captured themselves. The three are put out into an arena where they are to be sacrificed by some nasty looking creatures.
They put up a fight for several minutes and then the whole Jedi Order shows up, pulling out light sabers all over the place. The battledroids start attacking. Several Jedi are killed, but as the battle continues, Jango Fett(Temuera Morrison) and Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), get into a fight, eventually leading to Mace Windu cutting off Jango Fett’s head as Boba Fett watches.
The battle proceeds to go outside of the arena where a huge war begins with the clones and battledroids and Jedi fighting it out. Kenobi and Anakin chase Lord Tyranus to a Hangar where Tyranus uses the bad finger electricity to zap Anakin. Kenobi and Tyranus get into a light saber battle. Tyranus eventually wins by slicing Kenobi’s arm and leg. Anakin manages to get his strength back and fights Tyranus with both his own light saber and Kenobi’s light saber. Tyranus bests him, however, and ends up cutting off Anakin’s arm and knocking him out.
You think it’s the end of both of them, but who walks in??? Badass YODA!
Tyranus uses the force to throw objects at Yoda, but it’s no problem for the little guy. He just pushes them aside. Then Tyranus uses his bad finger electricity, Yoda sucks it up with his hand and zaps it back at Tyranus who doesn’t really get hurt by it. Since they decide they are equals at all the Jedi arts, they decide to settle it with an all out light saber battle. Yoda kicks Tyranus butt by flipping and spinning around, eventually causing Tyranus to retreat on his ship.
Later, some, but not all of the Jedi are dead. Lord Tyranus meets up with Palpatine, and they discuss how well their plans are working out and how they favor Skywalker’s progress in turning to the dark side.
The last screen shot is of Anakin and Amadala getting married. Anakin has a robotic arm.
